Day 1 - Auckland to Rotorua

We will first stop at the Hobbiton Village for a guided tour exploring the picturesque Hobbit Holes with detailed interiors and tales of filmmaking with a toast at the Green Dragon Inn followed by a traditional Hobbiton lunch.
Afternoon - Waitomo Glowworm Caves
Afterwards we proceed to the Glow Worm Caves in Waitomo, famous in New Zealand, features bioluminescent larvae of the Arachnocampa luminosa gnat, creating magical "starry" ceilings in dark, damp limestone caves. These larvae hang sticky silk threads to catch insects, using their blue-green light as a lure, with boat tours offering silent, unforgettable views of the galaxy-like spectacle and unique limestone formations.

Then we proceed to Rotorua, a vibrant city on New Zealand's North Island, famous globally for its unique geothermal wonders like geysers, bubbling mud pools, and hot springs, set amidst stunning lakes and lush forests, making it a prime spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers. It's also a significant center for Māori culture, offering authentic cultural experiences, art, and history, alongside adventure sports and wellness retreats.
Once we checked into your hotel in Rotorua we will take some time to refresh and get into your dinner attire and proceed to Skyline Rotorua on Mt. Ngongotaha, offering stunning views via a gondola for Premium Buffet Dining at the Stratosfare Restaurant.
